Car keys, client information stolen from DeLand auto shop

Deputies search for thieves who struck M & L Wholesale Auto Parts

DeLAND, Fla. – Volusia County deputies are working to find the thieves who targeted a DeLand auto shop and stole keys and client paperwork. 

Deputies told News 6 the crooks struck M & L Wholesale Auto Parts on West Mansfield Street sometime over the weekend. 

Investigators said the owner reported the keys belonging to 22 cars missing along with client paperwork. 

Deputies said the thieves also stole thousands of dollars worth of Snap On tools, along with a customer's car that was in the shop for repairs. 

The missing car is a 2005 silver Mazda four-door with black wheels and a pro-life sticker on the back bumper. The license plate number is: 1044VJ. 

Anyone with information about the missing car or the burglary to the auto shop is being asked to call the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.
