DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Firefighters were called to a fire on at Mr. G's Self Storage complex on North Nova Road Thursday after noon at approximately 4:30 p.m.
When crews arrived, heavy smoke and flames were coming from several units.

Once firefighters gained access by cutting several locks, a crew was able to quickly extinguish the fire.
Official believe only one unit was severely damaged, while three other units received minor smoke and water damage.
Officials believe the storage units received about $50,000 worth of damages.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation
