DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Police are looking for a person who shot a woman at a Daytona Beach home Monday night.
The shooting took place just before 6:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Michael Road, according to the Daytona Beach Police Department.

Police said the woman and the shooter were "acquainted," but the name of the suspect has not been released.
The woman was taken to Halifax Health Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries.
"That is all the information that is available at the moment," police said in a news release.
