DELTONA, Fla. - A central Florida woman is behind bars, accused of keeping chemicals to make methamphetamine in the presence of her 6-year-old child.
In fact, 31-year-old Carlee M. Moore faces a number of charges after deputies acted on a tip and showed up at her mother's home in Deltona on Oct. 11.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal is reporting that Volusia County Sheriff's deputies found chemicals and equipment to manufacture meth in a bedroom and on the ground outside.
Deputies say Moore and her mother tried to file harassment charges against the tipster. Moore then told deputies the materials belong to a man named Jesse.
She was taken to the Volusia County Jail, where she's being held on $26,000 bail. The child was turned over to his father.
