Cameras capture men ransacking home

LONGWOOD, Fla. – Seminole County deputies are searching for the two men they say broke into a Longwood home, stole jewelry and electronics and abused the family's dog.

Deputies said the men broke into the home on Beach Avenue in Longwood on Nov. 30 by smashing the patio door and ransacked the home.

In-home video cameras caught two men taunting Lilly, a 3-year-old pit bull, and throwing large objects at her. Lilly was found the next morning covered in welts, deputies said. She was treated by a local veterinarian and is expected to make a full recovery.
