Deputies seek missing Orange County woman

Authorities believe Sonja Jones may be traveling with 10-year-old son

ORLANDO, Fla. - Deputies are asking for the public's assistance in finding a missing woman in Orange County.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, Sonja Jones was last seen at 6:30 a.m. Friday at her home in the 6900 block of Colony Oak Lane in Orlando.

Jones is traveling with her 10-year-old son, and has made threats to harm herself in the past, said deputies.

Authorities said Jones has not contacted any family members, which they said is unusual behavior.

Deputies said Jones is possibly driving a 1998 gold Honda Accord with Florida license plate number D81-9XI.
