ORLANDO, Fla. - Usually, when you go to the Disney parks, you have many pamphlets in hand, your guide map, FastPass time sheets, and tickets -- now Disney's new Magic Bands allows you to unlock the magic with wristbands.

Disney is calling it a game changer.

"MyMagic+ is intended for people who love to plan and those who love spontaneity. So, whether you're a planner or just enjoy walking down Main Street USA, you'll have all of the elements that come with MyMagic+," Disney senior vice president, Jim MacPhee said.

The MyMagic+ experience includes a phone app, website, and magic bands. The bands are not only your way into Disney theme parks, but your resort room key, Fastpass+, credit card, and Photopass. Right now, resort guests like the Cecil family have been testing it out.

"We think it's real nice and there's been a lot of perks especially having a little one. A lot of the lines are forever long and you can walk up straight to the front with her so we can bounce from one thing to the next," said Krysta Cecil.

Even before heading out to the park, you can already set up your day online, like making reservations to eat at Magic Kingdom's new restaurant, Be Our Guest. Disney continues its classic tradition with innovations.

Disney says the Magic Bands will be available for purchase soon.
