If you've ever wondered what your dog does when you leave for work, now you don't have to. You can just leave DogTV on for them to watch.

DirecTV (DTV), the largest United States satellite-television provider, has announced they are adding DogTV to their channel lineup. The premium channel will cost you $5.99 a month, and is said to be available in the third quarter of this year.

DogTV is marketed as the first and only network just for dogs, and sold as programming designed to keep lonely pups company while owners are at work.

The programming includes scenes with and without other animals, moving objects and animation sequences. Relaxation programming is also offered, with colors and audio designed specifically for a dog's senses.
