Drive-by shooting injures man, deputies say

Deputies looking for a four-door silver Toyota or Honda

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man is recovering after being injured in a drive-by shooting in Orange County Friday evening, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies responded to Worth Street near the intersection of Tony Avenue and Long Road around 10:13 p.m. in reference to a man shot.

Deputies said the man was walking near the intersection when he was hit by a man in a four-door silver Toyota or Honda.

The suspect then fled in the vehicle, headed toward Long Road from Tony Avenue, according to reports.

The victim sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Deputies are still investigating the shooting.
