Duo arrested after packages taken from multiple homes, deputies say

OCSO: Both were in possession of packages, property from 12 different homes

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Two people have been arrested after they allegedly took packages from multiple homes.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said 911 was called after 4 p.m. Friday about suspicious activities of two people in the caller's neighborhood.

The caller told authorities the two were removing packages from the front doorsteps of multiple homes in the area, deputies said. The caller provided a detailed description of the duo and their vehicle, which helped responding deputies find and detain them.

Deputies said it was determined the two -- who were identified by the Sheriff's Office as Alexander Reyes, 18, and a 15-year-old boy -- were in possession of packages and property from 12 different homes in the area.

Reyes and the teenage boy were arrested and charged for multiple felony crimes, deputies said.

The Sheriff's Office said a follow-up investigation is ongoing as deputies attempt to make contact with each of the victims.
