Elderly Orange County man who suffers from dementia reported missing

Deputies seek help in locating Alfred 'Sugarfoot' Pearson

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies are asking the public to be on the lookout for an elderly man with dementia who hasn't been seen since he walked away from his North Apopka residence on Sunday.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said Alfred "Sugarfoot" Pearson, 75, left his home near the intersection of Hermit Smith Road and Highway 441 around 4 p.m. He was wearing a white T-shirt, denim jeans and black tennis shoes.

Deputies said they are concerned for Pearson's well-being because he suffers from dementia and might not be able to find his way back home.
