Estranged husband sought after woman shot dead at Dr. Phillips park

Orange County deputies search for 54-year-old Julian Paris

DR. PHILLIPS, Fla. - Orange County sheriff's investigators on Thursday continue to search for 54-year-old Julian Paris, who's accused of shooting and killing his estranged wife in front of their children at a Dr. Phillips park.

Deputies said Paris and his wife, 34-year-old Liza Nichole Adderly, were going through a separation and met at a neutral location earlier Wednesday and got into a fight.

Officials said Adderly left and took her three children to the Dr. P. Phillips Community Park to meet another family for a play date. Investigators said Paris either followed her there or knew she was at the park and showed up. The couple got into another argument and Paris pulled out a gun and shot Adderly multiple times in a parking lot at the park, deputies said.

The couple's three children were nearby when the shooting happened, and one of them called 911, said deputies.

Investigators said multiple people saw what happened, including other children, and called for help as well.

"It just shows how brazen the crime is, how brazen he was to come here in broad daylight to shoot this woman in broad daylight in front of multiple witnesses, including juveniles. I think it speaks a lot about the person," said Orange County sheriff's spokesman Jeff Williamson.

Officials said Paris was last seen wearing a red T-shirt and a black fedora. He has multiple tattoos and left the park in a white hatchback sedan.

The mini cooper was still parked in the parking lot on Thursday morning and an Orange County sheriff's domestic violence booklet was in the passenger side front seat.
