Video shows home go up in flames

DELTONA, Fla. – A couple and their adult son were able to safely escape a Deltona house fire early Wednesday.

The fire broke out around 1 a.m. at 2770 Sanger Terrace.

A neighbor told News 6 that he heard a popping sound and then saw the house go up in flames.

"It was a 'pop,' then it was orange," he said. "(It happened) in five seconds or less."

A propane tank next to the house was leaking but did not explode, firefighters said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The Red Cross will assist the family.

No other details have been released.
