FHP: Motorcyclist run over, killed by school bus identified

Troopers investigate 3-vehicle crash

LAKE NONA, Fla. - A motorcyclist was run over by a school bus and killed in a three-vehicle crash near Lake Nona High School, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Timothy Lemaster, 53, of St. Cloud, was killed in the crash, which happened about 7 a.m. Wednesday on Narcoossee Road north of Tyson Road.

No students were aboard the bus, according to FHP spokeswoman Kim Montes.

Troopers said the bus driver, 65-year-old Jeffrey Evans, of Orlando, was at a stop sign and pulled into the path of Lemaster's motorcycle and a pickup truck driven by 27-year-old Isai Urbana-Del Andel, of Oviedo.

Lemaster, who was not wearing a helmet, crashed into the bus and was ejected from his motorcycle before being run over and killed, troopers said.

Evans and Andel were not injured.

Charges are pending against Evans, who provided a blood sample to troopers, but authorities said drugs or alcohol don't seem to be a factor.

An investigation is ongoing.

Narcoossee Road was closed in the area for hours.
