FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – Quick Draw McGraw's got nothing on Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly.
Staly won a fast-draw competition Sunday at the Flagler County Gun Club against Bunnell police Chief Tom Foster and Flagler Beach police Lt. Randy Doyle. Staly beat Foster by a fraction of a second.

The competition was a timed event in which competitors used single-action revolvers with wax bullets to shoot at metal targets. The shooters used western-style cowboy gun belts and holsters.
"This was a great event put on by local Cracker Cowboys and the Cowboy Fast Draw Association,” Staly said. “Foster and Doyle were good competitors, but I do believe I was the only lawman to hit the target each and every round."
Staly raised over $800 for the charity Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches.
