PALM COAST, Fla. - A 65-year-old Flagler County man was arrested on suspicion of pointed a loaded gun at a landscaper whom he claimed was being rude.
Lee David Williams, of Palm Coast, was arrested Monday on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to a charging affidavit, three landscapers said they were hired by a homeowner, identified as Williams' daughter, to cut down some trees.
The workers told a Flagler County sheriff's deputy that they asked Williams to stay inside for his safety, but he kept coming out of the house. Williams then told the workers to leave and went back inside before returning with a loaded revolver, deputies said.
One of the workers said Willaims cocked the gun and pointed at him, the charging affidavit stated.
Deputies were called to the house, and Williams told them that he was in charge of the house and wanted to watch the landscapers work, the affidavit said. He added that the workers were rude to him, so he told them to leave.
Williams was arrested and taken to the Flagler County Jail.
No one was injured.
