Florida Tech placekicker Alex Brack died in a car accident on his way home to Defuniak Springs Sunday night, Local 6 News partner Florida Today reports.
The redshirt sophomore left campus sometime after a team meeting on Sunday. Brack helped Florida Tech defeat West Georgia 34-30 on Saturday afternoon in Georgia, kicking four extra points.

Brack was 7-for-8 in extra points this season for the 6-3 Panthers and in his career was 10-for-12.
The Walton High graduate was studying Civil Engineering at Florida Tech and earned a spot on the Gulf South Conference Fall Honor Roll for earning a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher through the fall 2013 semester.
Florida Tech will be wearing No. 92 decals on their helmets and are planning other ways to remember their teammate.
