Miami-Dade police said the shooting happened around 7:30 p.m.

The Miami Herald reported that one teen was shot in the head and the other two were shot in the abdomen.

Detectives and crime scene investigators worked late into the night to gather evidence. But the gunman, who ran from the shooting scene, remained at large on Tuesday morning.

“This is a senseless and heinous shooting of two 15-year-olds and a 14-year-old,” said Miami-Dade police Det. Khristopher Welch told WSVN-TV.
