Beyoncé becomes 'global partner' with soda company

NEW YORK – Beyoncé stands to make $50 million through a major deal announced on Tuesday with soda company Pepsi.

According to the deal, Pepsi and Beyoncé will become "global partners," with the company sponsoring her Super Bowl halftime show and her upcoming world tour.

Pepsi also plans to release a limited edition soda can featuring the popular singer's face.

The deal also calls for "collaborative projects," including special advertisements and "cool content," according to Pepsi president Brad Jakeman.
