Woman shocked Walmart guards with stun gun, Florida police say

Palm Bay police search for 3 culprits

PALM BAY, Fla. - Palm Bay police are searching for a woman who shocked two Walmart security guards with a stun gun, according to authorities.

The incident happened Monday as two employees were trying to detain three people captured on store surveillance cameras appearing to steal several items from the store on Malabar Road.  Two of the people fled the store, but a woman started fighting with the guards, police said.

The woman "began battering the store employees ultimately using a stun gun on the pair in order to make her escape," police said.

It's not known if the workers suffered any serious injuries.

The woman then fled the store with the other two culprits in a silver four-door Hyundai.

Anyone with information about the woman is urged to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.
