Deputies: Intoxicated woman bites man's fishing line while swimming

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – A 22-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday after she drunkenly bit a man's fishing line while swimming in the ocean near a pier in St. Augustine, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies responded to St. Johns County Pier where the man who was fishing from the pier told them Alexandria Turner swam up to his fishing line, cursed at him, bit his fishing line and swam away with the rigging.

The deputy said Turner appeared to be intoxicated and when he tried to walk with her to the pier office, she was not cooperative.

Turner started screaming and creating a scene on the pier, according to the arrest report. 

Deputies arrested Turneron charges of disorderly intoxication and resisting an officer without violence.
