KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Osceola County Sheriff's detectives arrested a home healthcare worker after they say he stole from an 81-year-old woman and her disabled son.

Nosman Calixted, UCF student and Haitian immigrant, was charged with exploiting a disabled adult and criminal use of personal identification information.

The investigation began in July when a relative visiting his 81-year-old grandmother discovered financial irregularities with her accounts. Two credit cards had also been opened in the name of the woman's 40-year-old son who has a disability, according to the report.

Calixte worked for the victims as a home health aide, which is how police said he was able to obtain the man's identification and apply for the credit cards.

Police also said that Calixte withdrew thousands of dollars from the 81-year-old woman's checking account.
