Jacksonville Jaguars, Blake Bortles look to 2014 season

Oviedo's Bortles picked No. 3 in 1st round of the draft

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Coming off what many experts are labeling as a successful NFL draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars will give a "State of the Franchise" address Tuesday afternoon.

Owner Shad Khan, general manager Dave Caldwell, head coach Gus Bradley and President Mark Lamping will be on hand to update fans and stakeholders on stadium renovations, preview what's on tap for the 2014 season and recap the team's progress in the draft.

On Thursday night, the Jaguars selected University of Central Florida quarterback Blake Bortles, of Oviedo, No. 3 in the first round of the draft, a move that surprised many fans, who anticipated the team would pick Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel.

The team is also set to new after a friendly match between Khan's Fulham FC soccer team and D.C. United. Shortly after the reveal, fans will be treated to a concert by Carrie Underwood.
