Lake County Sheriff's Office say they have arrested an undercover detective accused of secretly recording the mother of his child during an ongoing child custody dispute.
Deputies say Lake County Detective Jesse Souza turned himself in Wednesday afternoon and is facing charges related to the incident.

Souza also handed in a letter of resignation on Wednesday, according to deputies.
Souza had been working with LCSO since 2006.
No other details on the arrest were immediately available.
