Man wakes up from anesthesia, flirts with wife

Wife records husband's second 'love at first sight' moment

ORLANDO, Fla. – After enduring several surgeries and threats to his life, Jason Mortensen was rewarded with something most people only experience once -- true love at first sight.

Following his most recent surgery, Mortensen awoke in a loopy state due to the anesthesia. His wife, Candice, was recording as he woke up.

While Candice was focused on making sure her husband ate crackers, her husband was focused on hitting on the strange woman in front of him.

"Did the doctor send you?" Mortensen asked, not realizing he was speaking to his wife. "Man, you are eye candy. Woah!"

"You're the prettiest woman I've ever seen," Mortensen said as he continued to flirt with his wife. "Are you a model?"

"I'm going to be right here with you," his wife said, ignoring his pick-up lines. "You eat the cracker."

When Mortensen asked his wife for her name, he was stunned to find out he was the lucky husband.

"You're my wife?" Mortensen exclaimed. "Man, have we kissed yet?"

While his wife continued to push him to eat the cracker, Mortensen remained fixed on his discovery.

"How long have we been married?" Mortensen asked. "Oh my God -- I hit the jackpot!"

In the comments for his video entitled "Seeing her for the first time again," Mortensen explains he has had five surgeries during the six years he has been married to Candice. He suffered a severe complication in a previous surgery and didn't know if he would function the same ever again.

"She's been by my side through all of it," Mortensen writes. "She is the love of my life."

Mortensen says he was "definitely out of it" and doesn't remember his loopy moment of love at first sight.
