MARION COUNTY, Fla. – Police arrested and charged two men Tuesday in the shooting death of a 28-year-old woman on June 25 in Belleview.
Police said Malik Jones, 28, and Rickey Brown, 26, were at Candice Ambrose's house at 12430 Southeast 85th Court when a verbal altercation began between several people.

Witnesses said Brown and Jones were holding weapons and that Brown fired his weapon in the direction of Ambrose.
Witnesses told police Brown then walked toward Ambrose, who was sitting in a car, and acknowledged that she was dying. Brown and Jones then left the scene.
Brown charged with armed manslaughter. He has no bond.
Jones is charged with possession of weapon or ammo by convicted felon. His bond was set at $20,000.
