Troopers say 30 year old James Maddux was pulled over in his Toyota Prius under suspicion of drunk driving. But when they asked him to step out of his car, Maddux is seen taking off. He then led police on a chase that spanned one and a half miles before his Prius hit a station wagon, ejecting both drivers.

Troopers say they just got the results of Maddux's blood alcohol test which showed he had a level of 0.195. The legal limit is .08.

He now faces a long list of charges that include drunk driving and fleeing from a police officer.
