Deputies say he punched his father, Leonard Harris, 52, in the face, leaving him unconscious on the ground after his head hit the concrete.

Family members who were vacationing with the two men told deputies that the younger Harris became upset after finding evidence on his father's cellphone of an extramarital affair his father had been having, according to an Orange County Sheriff's Office report. Family members indicated that he had found pictures on Facebook earlier and confronted his father, who admitted to the affair, deputies said.

Taylor Dwayne Harris left the table where the family was eating after seeing text messages on his father's phone, witnesses told deputies.

When Leonard Harris went outside to ask him what was wrong, Taylor Dwayne Harris hit his father in the face, knocking him backward to the ground, witnesses said.

After the altercation, Taylor Dwayne Harris went back into the building, where deputies found him crying. He had told his mother, who was also inside, about his father's affair, according to a report.

Leonard Harris was taken to Doctor Phillips Hospital, then Orlando Regional Medical Center, with critical injuries, a report stated.

Deputies arrested and charged Taylor Dwayne Harris with aggravated battery, but charges were upgraded after his father died on Wednesday.
