Man arrested in connection with burglaries in Poinciana area, officials say

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A man has been arrested in connection with burglaries in the Poinciana area, according to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

Officials said detectives who were investigating recent burglaries in the Poinciana area obtained probable cause for the arrest of Demarco Robinson, 25, on two armed burglary dwelling investigations.

Detectives discovered during Robinson's arrest evidence that linked him to other crimes, officials said.

Robinson was taken to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office and was interviewed. Officials said he cooperated with detectives and was found to be responsible for 11 armed burglary dwellings in the Poinciana area.

Robinson was released from prison for burglary in February and moved to the Poinciana area in May, officials said.
