OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating an accident that happened in Osceola County early Saturday.
Troopers said the motorcycle rider, 42-year-old James Demler, was south on Florence Drive near Emerald Drive around 2 a.m. Saturday.

Troopers said he crashed as he tried to turn right on to Emerald Drive, causing him to lay down his bike in the road.
Troopers said Demler was thrown from his bike and declared dead at the scene.
