Attack caught on camera at Florida cellphone store

Officers say Vincent Johnson, 41, is seen in the surveillance video pacing in front of the Boost Mobile counter while talking to a worker.

Police say Johnson suddenly threw a powerful punch, hitting the pregnant woman directly in the face. The punch was so strong the pregnant woman fell straight to the ground.

"It's a shame," Bob Wilson, the owner of the Boost Mobile store, told WEAR-TV. "Justice is not ever good enough for a situation like that."

Police say after punching the woman, Johnson ran around the counter and demanded the worker tell him how to open the register. Johnson grabbed cash and ran out of the store.

"It's a terrible world out there and we have to buckle down and make it right," said Wilson, who offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

In the 24 hours following the attack, police say they received multiple tips that led them to Johnson. He was arrested Thursday and charged with felony battery, strong-arm robbery and burglary.

The pregnant woman was taken to the hospital and treated for a broken nose.
