Report: Former UCF QB Blake Bortles inks Nike endorsement deal

Oviedo native signs deal ahead of NFL Draft

Former University of Central Florida quarterback Blake Bortles has something in common with Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods.

They are all Nike guys now.

According to NFL.com, Bortles signed an endorsement deal with the biggest athletic footwear company in the country.

The Oviedo native is a week and a half away from the NFL Draft in New York City. He is expected to go anywhere from the first to the eighth pick on day one of the draft.

It's unclear how much money the former UCF football star will make from the Nike deal. According to Forbes.com, Jordan made an estimated $90 million last year from his Nike endorsement.

Bortles led the Knights to a 12-1 record, including a win in the Fiesta Bowl against the Baylor Bears.
