Fatal accidents kill 3 in Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. – Three separate accidents killed three people early Sunday morning as troopers and police investigate what caused them all.

The first accident happened on Landstreet Boulevard at State Road 417 shut down after a motorcycle driver hit a tree.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said 21-year-old Negron Lind lost control of the motorcycle, slid into the median and hit a tree.

Troopers pronounced Lind dead at the scene.

The next accident happened on Interstate 4 around 2 a.m. Sunday morning.

Troopers said two cars collided in Seminole County near State Road 417 and County Road 46. 

Troopers said one of the cars went off the road and hit a power pole.

That accident remains under investigation and troopers said they are not releasing any names.

Troopers said Interstate 4 was shut down for several hours while they investigated.

The last accident happened around 5:02 a.m. Sunday on Lee Vista Blvd and Lake Avon Road.

Orlando police were called out to the accident where they said a driver failed to negotiate the curve, went off the road and hit a tree.

Police said the driver of that car was pronounced dead, but they are not releasing his name until next-of-kin are notified.
