Man of many disguises sought in Central Florida bank robberies

TD Banks robbed in Orlando area, elsewhere

LONGWOOD, Fla. – The FBI and Central Florida law enforcement agencies continue to search for a serial bank robber who's robbed several Orlando-area banks while wearing multiple disguises.

Authorities reiterated Friday that a reward of $8,000 is being offered for information leading to the man's arrest.

Officials said the man has worn several disguises in the nine robberies, including dressing as Walter White, the main character in the TV show "Breaking Bad," a construction worker and a businessman.

"We believe there is someone out there who knows who he is," Orlando police Sgt. Jim Young said.

On Monday, police released a picture of a man robbing the TD bank on State Road 434 in Longwood.  In that robbery, he was wearing glasses and a suit coat.

The man also robbed an Orlando TD Bank on South Kirkman Road on March 29 and a Melbourne TD Bank on South Babcock Street on April 12, according to police.

Robberies were also reported in Lakeland, Vero Beach and the Tampa area.

"When you have nine different jurisdictions involved, sometimes things fall through the cracks and we want to make sure that doesn't happen," Orlando police investigator Rene Ingoglia said.
