VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – Northbound lanes of Interstate 95 were shut down due to a vehicle and brush fire in Volusia County Saturday.
Firefighters said one person died as a result of the accident.

Firefighters said the fire started around Mile Marker 258, just south of Daytona Beach in the northbound lanes of I-95.
Firefighters said a the vehicle ran off the road, hit a tree, caught on fire and the fire then spread into woods.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers said one other person was injured from the accident.
Troopers said they have re-opened one lane of northbound traffic.
