DEBARY, Fla. – Volusia County Sheriff's investigators along with Orange City and Volusia County firefighters are on the scene of a house fire in DeBary where the body of an adult man was found inside the charred home.
Firefighters were called out to the home at at 54 West Highbanks Road around 9:19 Sunday morning, after a passerby spotted flames coming from the windows of the home, deputies said.
Firefighters began to put out the blaze and when they went inside, the found the body of the man inside, deputies said
Deputies said they are conducting a death investigation while the cause of the fire is being investigated by the State Fire Marshal's Office.
