ORMOND BEACH, Fla. - Ormond Beach police are asking for the public's help to find whoever is targeting homes, businesses, and cars with a BB gun.

Police tell Local 6 since the beginning of November they've received 38 reports of windows either cracked or smashed by the pellets. The most recent cases of vandalism happened over the weekend.

The vandal has targeted several areas including a stretch of Granada Boulevard, along with parts of Halifax Drive, and areas near Ormond Beach Middle School on Domicilio Avenue.

Victims are paying thousands of dollars to have those windows replaced.

Police are asking anyone with information to call their Criminal Investigations Division at 386-676-3514 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS (8477)
