FLAGLER BEACH, Fla. - Family and friends gathered Thursday morning in Flagler Beach for the funeral of Zuheily Rosado, a 32-year-old beloved mother of six who was shot and killed one week ago while working the evening shift as a clerk at a Palm Coast gas station.

"We all were like family. It wasn't, 'She was my co-worker.' It was like she was my sister," Martha Ortega, a friend of Rosado, told WJXT-TV.

Surveillance video of the man who walked into the mobile gas station off East State Route 100 in Palm Coast last Thursday shows the killing happened within 9 seconds.

"No hesitation. He didn't appear to be nervous. He went right to work," said former police detective and criminology professor Ray Stevens.

Stevens added he believes Rosado's killer knew what he was doing.

"I think that this woman was the victim of a direct hit," Stevens said. "Probably somebody from out of town, somebody who probably has some gang experience or affiliated with some gang. He may have been hired."

With no motive or person of interest, Flagler County investigators are looking into every possibility. This includes Rosado's past, which shows she had turbulent relationships with two different men. Court records show she was in a custody battle with the father of one of her children. He owed more than $28,000 in child support. Rosado also filed a restraining order against another man, the father of three of her children.

"This is just one area that they would look out at," said Lt. Bob Weber, of the Flagler County Sheriff's Office said. "They would do a victimology study to find out what was going on in her life."

As deputies continue to search for the man who killed Rosado, her six children are forced to move on without her, laying their mother to rest Thursday.

"You took our life away, you took the person who provided for us, you took her away," said Rosado's 16-year-old daughter, Teysha Silva.
