Florida Gov. Rick Scott was in Orlando Wednesday and made an announcement as he continues his campaign for re-election in 2014.

Scott spoke in front of Sportfishing professionals at the Orange County Convention Center to announce the formation of the Sportsmen for Scott Coalition.

The group, made up of hunters, fishermen and other outdoor sportsmen, will be supporting the governor's re-election bid.

During the event, Scott was asked about a recent controversy involving uniformed officers taking part in a campaign event.

"I'm honored that people want to come to my campaign events," said Scott.  "So we're always going to do the right thing, but you know Charlie.  He's going to mudsling."

Scott is facing opposition this year from former governor Charlie Crist, as well as state Sen. Nan Rich.
