Gunman sought in armed robbery at Circle K in Orlando

Clerk not injured after gunman steals cash from convenience store

ORLANDO, Fla. - Police are on the lookout for the gunman who stole cash from a Circle K in Orlando.

Officers responded at 10:19 p.m. Friday to the Circle K convenience store at 5821 Curry Ford Rd. in reference to an armed commercial robbery.

Orlando police said the gunman entered the store, showed the clerk a black handgun that was in his waistband and took an undetermined amount of cash.

The clerk was not injured during the incident.

The gunman is currently at large. Orlando police described him as a Hispanic male possibly in his late 20s.

Orlando police, with the assistance of Orange County Aviation, are searching the area. Police said crime scene investigators and detectives were also at the scene Friday night.
