HAPPIEST OF HOURS: These are some of Central Florida's best happy hours

Sushi restaurants, bars and more offer drink, food specials daily

ORLANDO, Fla. - Sometimes, the happiest hours are those we spend accompanied by food and drinks. Luckily, in Central Florida, it's easy to find great discounted deals at many restaurants and bars during those hours.

Below, find a list of some of our favorite local happy hours.This list is by no means comprehensive, and many restaurants participate in happy hour, regardless of whether or not they serve alcohol.

Next time you're looking to get happy, give yourself an hour or two and head to one of these spots:

Yard House
Where: 8367 International Drive, Orlando

What's the only thing better than one happy hour? Two happy hours. Yard House offers a day time happy hour Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. as well as a late-night happy hour Wednesday through Sunday from 10 p.m. until the restaurant closes. The deal offers $2 off all draft beer, wine, liquor and cocktails as well as $3 off 9-ounce glasses of wine and $4 off a large half yard of beer. The best part of the deal is half-priced appetizers, which always include pizza, onion rings and even vegan "chicken" wings.

The Hammered Lamb
Where: 1235 N. Orange Ave, Orlando

The Hammered Lamb's happy hour, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. is accompanied by different events depending on the day you decide to stop by. On Tuesdays, the Ivanhoe Village-area bar hosts trivia, while Thursdays it has live music. On Fridays, the bar hosts its "Friday sunset happy hour" with $2.25 domestic beer bottles, $3.25 call liquors and $4 glasses of wine. The bar also has football drink bucket specials during big games.

Pepe's Cantina
Where: 433 W. New England Ave., Winter Park
120 W. Church St., Orlando
5415 International Drive, Orlando

You can spend over seven hours happy at Pepe's Cantina during the restaurant's deal from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day. The Mexican restaurant features different drink deals every night which range from $3.99 margaritas to $1.99 tequila shots. On Fridays and Saturdays, the happy hour from 10 p.m. to midnight at the bar. The best part? Every day's happy hour comes with guaranteed free queso.

Bikkuri Sushi Noodle and Grill
Where: 1915 East Colonial Drive, Orlando

Bikkuri has happy hour deals on everything you could ever need -- cocktails and sushi. During the restaurant's happy hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. every day, all drinks are two-for-one. That includes beer, wine, cocktails, sake and martinis. The happy hour menu also includes deals on certain sushi rolls and appetizers. Monday through Thursday, the spot also has special deals on certain drinks food items. Never fear -- the anime shows play on the TV above the bar every day. 

Ember Orlando
Where: 42 W. Central Blvd., Orlando

Though Ember doesn't have an official happy hour every day, the bar in the heart of downtown Orlando does shine with its Friday three-for-one happy hour deal from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The bar does have plenty of other deals throughout the week, including bottomless mimosas on Sundays, bottomless wine and appetizers for a flat ticket fee on Wednesdays and more. The venue is also great for large groups looking to make a reservation in advance.

Shakai Sushi
Where: 43 E. Pine St., Orlando

Bottles of beer for $2 each and $5 orders of sushi comprise this happy hour menu, which runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. every day. The food and drinks are a good deal, as the restaurant, just off Pine Street in downtown Orlando, has prices much higher for its normal operating menu. The full deal also includes $3 house wines and small sake carafes and $5 sake-tinis, liquor drinks and large sake carafes, in addition to sushi and appetizer deals.
