Disney's Candlelight Processional in Epcot

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - If you've always wanted to watch Walt Disney World's Candlelight Processional but were deterred by the price of an Epcot ticket, this holiday season brings good news -- Disney will be livestreaming a showing of Tuesday's Dec. 4 show for free.

The livestreamed show is set to be narrated by Emmy and Tony Award-winning actor Neil Patrick Harris. While the show will begin at 8:15 p.m. here on the Disney Parks Blog website, viewers can tune in at 8:05 p.m. to get a behind-the-scenes look at how the show comes together.

The Candlelight Processional is one of the longest-running Disney traditions within the parks. 2018 will mark 60 years of the annual holiday show, which has evolved significantly to reach its modern format that guests know today.

The show is a retelling of the Christmas story, featuring multiple choirs and a 50-piece of orchestra to regale guests with both old and new holiday songs as well as a rotating cast of celebrity narrators. It's performed three times every night in December at the American Adventure stage in Epcot's World Showcase.

The livestream is part of Disney's new #DisneyParksLIVE series, which has showcased shows, parades and other events from the parks online for anyone to watch.
