Sugar Baby, a 45-pound boxer, vanished for more than a week

TITUSVILLE, Fla. - The missing 5-year-old boxer who was believed to be hiding in a sewer drain has been found on Wednesday morning after neighbor spotted the dog on their home surveillance video.

According to the Facebook page for Sugar Baby, a 45-pound boxer, she was taken to veterinarian and "is in relatively good shape" after being missing for 15 days.

Sugar Baby was found 3 miles from home and a mile and a half from the storm water sewers after a neighbor saw Sugar Baby on their home surveillance video. Food was put out that night and very early the next morning, one of the owners and their other dog, Boomer, went to the area and found Sugar Baby

Sugar Baby has lost about 8 pounds, has a small fever and a slight injury on her hind.

Sugar Baby was reported missing last week from her home on Indian River Avenue in Titusville, sparking a search by off-duty firefighters, city workers and volunteers.

Her family drove hundreds of miles searching for her last week after the dog escaped through an open gate.
