ORLANDO, Fla. – The insurance provider for the Orlando day care where a boy died in a hot van has filed a lawsuit against the business.
In an eight-page complaint, Hudson Specialty Insurance Company says its policy with Little Miracles Academy didn't cover the vehicle where 3-year-old Myles Hill died on Aug. 7. Hudson also says Hill's mother demanded a $1 million settlement 11 days after his death.

Orlando police say Hill was left in the van for nearly 11 hours before a day care employee found him. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
The van's driver, Deborah St. Charles, was arrested on charges of aggravated manslaughter.
