Items found in ocean might belong to Florida boys lost at sea

Lifejackets, cushion discovered near Savannah

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The families of two missing teenage fishermen from Palm Beach County say they're trying to determine whether a couple of lifejackets and a white cushion can be linked to the boys.

A spokesman for the families of the 14-year-old boys said the cushion was found in Wassaw Sound near Savannah on Georgia's coastline. The lifejackets were found south of that near St. Catherines.

The items resemble items that were on the 19-foot boat that Austin Stephanos and PerryCohen were aboard when they disappeared during a fishing trip off Jupiter Inlet two weeks ago. Their boat was found July 26 capsized off Daytona Beach.

A canine team is working to see if there is a match between the items and the teens.
