Man shot, injured at apartment complex, Orlando police say

ORLANDO, Fla. - Police continue to search for two men accused of shooting a Jimmy John's delivery man during a robbery attempt.

The shooting happened Monday afternoon at the City West apartments on Kirkman Road near Valencia College's west campus in Orlando.

Police said the 35-year-old driver had just made a delivery when he was waved down by two men, one of whom pointed a gun at him.

The man sped off in his car, but one of the culprits fired a shot, shattering a car window and striking the driver in the chin, police said. The driver suffered a non-life-threatening injury, police said.

The two culprits were seen at a nearby Walmart around 1 p.m. Monday, police said. A surveillance image shows one of the men wearing a green sweatshirt. The other man is wearing a black sweatshirt over a green T-shirt.
