ORLANDO, Fla. - A man wanted in a two-county chase through Osceola and Orange counties was bitten by a K-9 and a horse after fleeing onto a ranch.
Osceola County sheriff's deputies say they pulled over a car driven by Jason Ray Allen, 22, early Monday morning. Allenr then took off, leading deputies on a chase into Orange County, officials said.
The chase ended in a crash near State Road 417 near Curry Ford Road, and Allen and another passenger, Joseph Glatterman, was arrested. The other passenger, Herbert Lamb, ran to a vacant home on a horse farm, according to deputies.
Lamb was later caught and bitten by a K-9, deputies said. A woman who lives next door said one of her horses also bit the man. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
All three men were booked into the Orange County Jail.
Allen has been charged with 2 counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, fleeing and eluding, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and violation of Probation.
Glatterman has been charged with resisting with violence and 2 counts of violation of probation.
Lamb has been charged with fleeing and eluding, driving while license revoked, expired driver's license, resisting without violence, resisting with violence and burglary.
Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was located in the vehicle and the investigation is ongoing with additional charges pending, according to deputies.
