KFC manager pistol-whipped during robbery, deputies say

3 masked men accused of targeting Seminole County restaurant

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – Masked men robbed a KFC restaurant in unincorporated Winter Park, pistol-whipped the manager, then crashed their vehicle while fleeing the scene, according to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.

The trio entered the restaurant on 4520 Aloma Ave. at about 3 p.m. Monday and demanded money; at least two of them were armed with handguns, deputies said.

A store manager reportedly sustained minor injuries when one of the man hit her in the face with a gun.

Deputies said the men left the restaurant in a white pickup truck and crashed near Branchwood Apartments on Old Howell Branch Road.

After the crash, the men got into another vehicle and continued to flee.

Deputies said no arrests have been made in the case.
