That's exactly what Chris and Natira Matthews of Redwood City, California, did, according to the Huffington Post.

Meet Dug, the tin T-Rex. Dug is so popular, he even has a Facebook page, where at last check, he had more than 2,100 followers. His hobbies, as listed on the page, include "Eating meat, scaring children and small dogs, dressing up."

The best part about Dug is how happy he makes the neighbors. The Matthews' have gotten all sorts of cards and notes about him, and even items donated for Dug to wear. One child wrote in a handmade card, "I like your dinosaur". Another person wrote, "Thank you for making the world a brighter place! I love the dino and drive by every day."
