Man faces 10 counts of sexual battery on a child, Osceola County deputies say

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A man accused of sexually battering a child for years was arrested in Osceola County Wednesday, according to the sheriff’s office.

Bobby Joe Muse, 52, is facing 10 counts of sexual battery on a child between the ages of 12 and 18, deputies said Thursday.

Deputies launched an investigation into Muse after receiving a report of sexual battery on a child on Monday, the sheriff’s office said.

According to detectives, the child victim told them about being sexually battered over the course of eight years across multiple locations, including Osceola County.

An arrest warrant was issued for Muse on Wednesday and he was arrested later that day, deputies said.

Muse is currently being held in the Osceola County jail without bond.
